The aim of this session is to assist Managing Agents and those with the duty to arrange for Person Centred Fire Risk Assessments (PCFAs) and subsequent Residential Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan (R-PEEP) / Emergency Evacuation Statements (EES) documentation the confidence to interpret the regulations and follow a structured process in order to produce accurate, compliant, and person focused plans that support resident safety.

Objectives
By the end of this session, delegates should be able to:

  • Understand why Residential PEEPs were introduced and the regulatory drivers post‑Grenfell.
  • Explain what the law requires, which buildings are in scope and the duties of the responsible person
  • Distinguish the difference between PEEPs, PCFRAs and traditional Fire Risk Assessments
    Identify who is responsible for delivery within property management organisations
  • Describe a practical, proportionate process for implementation
    Recognise common pitfalls and how to avoid them.
