Changes to the Building Regulations have created new client duties with criminal penalties. This has brought into sharp focus the risks to managing agents when procuring building works for their clients. There are however significant risks associated with any type of procurement undertaken by a Managing Agent. The course will look at what procurement is, why it is important, the potential penalties for getting it wrong, what good looks like and the competencies a person needs to procure effectively
